birthday.
haha
i should be happy.
but i feel oh soooooooooooooooo lonely. :[
dko lam bakit. haha
oh. this song.
i love this song.
it has the same question..

a question i've been wanting to ask. :|

Kapag ako ay nagmahal
Isa lamang at wala nang iba pa
Iaalay buong buhay
Lumigaya ka lang, lahat ay gagawin

Tumingin ka man sa iba
Magwawalang-kibo na lang itong puso ko
Walang sumbat na maririnig
Patak ng luha ko ang iniwang saksi

CHORUS
Bakit nga ba mahal kita
Kahit 'di pinapansin ang damdamin ko
'Di mo man ako mahal, heto pa rin ako
Nagmamahal nang tapat sa 'yo

Bakit nga ba mahal kita
Kahit na may mahal ka nang iba
Ba't baliw na baliw ako sa 'yo
Hanggang kailan ako magtitiis
O, bakit nga ba mahal kita

Ano man ang sabihin nila
Pagtingin ko sa 'yo'y 'di kailan man magmamaliw
Buong buhay paglilingkuran kita
'Di naghahangad ng ano mang kapalit

[Repeat 2nd Stanza]
[Repeat CHORUS twice]

CODA
O, bakit nga ba mahal kita

yun lng. :)

i feel sad. :))

red blood cell donation

Single Donor Red Cell

Benefits
Red blood cells help patients who experience blood loss from accidents, medical operations, or red cell abnormalities such as thalassemia.

Method
1. Red cell donation makes it possible to provide red blood cells belonging to rare blood groups.
2. The patient is able to reserve 2 bags of his/her own blood for a single operation.
3. Compared to receiving blood from various donors, blood from a single donor has less risk of infection.

Requirements of donors

  • General requirements are similar to whole blood donors e.g. 17-60 years of age, no ailments, excellent health, currently not on medication.

  • Special requirements:
    Male      weight over 59 kg
                       height over 155 cm
    Female  weight over 68 kg
                       height over 165 cm

    - Hct value over 40%
    - Body index value under 25
    - Donations can be repeated every 16 weeks (4 months)

  • PLATELET

    Single donor platelets

    Benefits
Platelets help patients with hemophilia and low-platelet counts due to hemorrhagic fever, leukemia, lymph node cancer, etc.

    Methods
Platelet transfer is done by a computer-operated apparatus. Blood will be sent through a machine which will automatically distinguish platelets from red blood cells. Once the platelets are separated from the blood, the remaining blood components will be passed back to the body. A session of platelet donation takes approximately 1 hours. 30 minutes.

    Important Requirements of Platelet Donors:

  • The donor's blood group must be identical to the patient who will be using the platelets.

  • The blood vessels at the elbow flexor are easily identified.

  • The donor does not take aspirin for 5 days prior to donation.

  • It is preferable that the donor has been donating blood regularly.
In general cases, the donor will not experience physical fatigue and therefore will be able to function normally. One can give platelets every 3 days. Blood donation is allowed one month after platelet donation.

  • PLASMA DONATION

    Plasma Donation
    Benefits
Plasma helps patients who are in need of lymph, who are in shock from scalding or burns, or who have hemorrhagic fever.
    Procedures
Pass blood through a filter apparatus to separate plasma from the blood cells. Plasma will then be stored in a bag while red cells are sent back to the donor's body.
Plasma donation-500 cc each time-can be repeated every 14 days. In addition to being used as a blood component for specific patients, the donated plasma is also put through laboratory processes to create blood products such as Albumin (factor 8 concentrated, factor 9 concentrated), intravenous Immunoglobulin, hepatitis B vaccine, rabies vaccine.

    WHOLE BLOOD DONATION

    Whole Blood Donation
    Benefits
    1. Pride of giving
    2. Eligible for a free physical check-up every 3 months
    3. Receive information about your blood type-both ABO and RH
    4. The fact that every unit of donated blood must be examined through laboratory processes means the donor is being examined for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, AIDS, etc, at the same time.
        In addition, as a token of appreciation, the National Blood Center will award each donor a donation pin for the 1st, 7th, 16th, 24th, 36th, 48th, 60th, 72nd , 84th, 96th, and 108th donation.

    Donors' Qualifications:
    1. 17-60 years of age
    2. Excellent health, with the weight over 45 kg
    3. No history of hepatitis or jaundice
    4. No history of malarial fever for the past 3 years and no sexually transmitted diseases, infectious diseases, persistent cough, coughing up blood, hemophilia, blood-related diseases, asthma, allergy, epilepsy, long-term skin diseases, kidney diseases, heart problems, diabetes, thyroid.
    5. No considerable weight loss
    6. No behaviors of sexual promiscuity. No record of drug use.
    7. Blood donation is not recommended during the 6 months after a medical operation, child delivery, or abortion. In case of receiving donated blood, allow 1 year before giving blood.
    8. Female donors are not menstruating or pregnant.

    Before blood donation:

  • Get enough sleep-at least 6 hours

  • Stay healthy--free from colds and medications

  • Prior to the donation, eat non-fat digestible food

  • No alcoholic beverages 24 hours before the donation

  • To enhance the blood-purifying capacity of the lungs, quit smoking 1 hour before and after the donation

    After Blood Donation:

  • Rest for a while. Getting up abruptly may cause nausea.

  • Drink the beverage prepared for you and drink a lot of water for 1 day.

  • Make sure you feel all right before leaving.

  • In case of dizziness, tell the officer immediately.

  • Take the prescribed iron 1 tablet once a day to prevent iron deficiency.

  • To prevent bruises and swelling, avoid using the punctured arm for 12 hours.

  • Avoid activities that use too much energy and cause perspiration.
Please do not give blood if:

  • You or your spouse has been involved in sexual intercourse with a male or female prostitute without using condoms during the past 3 months.

  • You or your spouse have been intravenous drug users.

  • You have tested positive for HIV.

  • all about BLOOD.

    Blood Donation

Blood plays a vital role in saving human life, and because scientists have yet to succeed in discovering a suitable replacement for blood, blood donation remains the most important means for transferring blood from one human to another.
Blood donation refers to the giving of extra blood that is unnecessary for the body to someone in need. Giving blood is by no means dangerous because the human body normally contains 17-18 glasses of blood, of which only 15-16 is actually used. The extra portion can be donated to others.
Blood donation can be done as often as every 3 months. This is because when some blood has been donated, the bone marrow plays an important role in producing new blood cells to replace blood loss to maintain the same blood volume. If one does not donate blood, the body will routinely excrete the degenerated blood cells in the form of urine, feces, or sweat. The process of blood donation usually takes approximately 15 minutes. 350-450 c.c. of blood, depending on the donor's weight, will be stored in a blood bag.

    What is Blood?
Blood is the red fluid which, with the help of the heart, circulates in blood vessels throughout the body. Blood cells are created by bone marrow located in the arms, chest, ribs, skull, hips, spine, etc. An adult body normally contains 4,000-5,000 c.c. of blood. This can be easily calculated through the formula:
    total body weight x 80 = blood volume (c.c.)

Blood consists of 2 components, namely:
             1. Blood cells, which make up 45% of whole blood. They are of 3 types:
1.1 Red blood cells. Replaced every 120 days, they transfer oxygen to the cells to create energy.
1.2 White blood cells. Comparable to soldiers, they prevent and destroy "intruders" to the body such as bacteria, virus, and other toxic substances. They live approximately 10 hours.
1.3 Platelets. Having a life span of 5-10 days, they make blood clot.
             2. Plasma 55% of whole blood, plasma is a yellow liquid that keeps blood cells afloat. In addition to maintaining blood pressure and volume, it also serves as immunity. It consists of 92% liquid and 8% proteins. The essential proteins are:
                     - Albumin, which preserves the balance of water in blood vessels and tissues.
                     - Immunoglobulin, which makes the human body immune to certain diseases.
               Interesting facts:
                     - The accumulated length of all blood vessels in the body is 96,000 kilometers or 2.5 times greater than the earth's circumference.
                     - On average, a male body contains 5-6 liters of blood while there are 4-5 liters in a female body.
                     - Blood circulates back to the heart as many as 1,000 times a day.
                     - Young people's bodies contain 35,000,000,000,000 (35 trillion) red blood cells. After 120 days, 1.2 billion red blood cells will expire and be excreted while the bone marrow, much of which is located in the ribs, skull and spine, will create new cells to replace the degenerated ones.

    i donated.

    hi thar.
    it's coffee~

i donated blood last Sunday. :))

NOVEMBER29,2009 - 3rd death anniv of my bestfriend, Joshua Balajadia

since it was his death anniv...
    i couldnt sleep saturday night..
    so..
    what i did was..

    i tried calling
    1: leslie
    2: edwin
    3: isaac

but then everyone is either sleeping, or busy, or out of reach.

    so i called Ken.

    yep.
i called him in the middle of the night alright.

i think it was around 2am
    haha

i woke him up.. but thanks to him i slept. :)

i slept around 4am... then woke up at 7am because we're goin to the Church.

3hours of sleep-- bawal yun pag magddonate ka ng dugo.

    but since the patient's illness
is LEUKEMIA. i just couldn't back out.
even if i dont know her.
[btw. pls pray for her. her name is Hazel Cano, 17 years old. on need of B+ blood]

    so i still went there.
    i arrived at 4pm,
    blood test at 5pm.

    blood extraction at 8pm.

yess. ang tagal sa mother teresa of calcuta thing hospital.

    450CC lang pedeng kuhain.
    10%of your blood. :)

    and since i donated before,
    i thought i wouldnt feel nauseous. -.-
but then for the first time...

i felt like i wanted to vomit.
    and my head is spinning.
     -.-

is it due to the blood loss?

my dad warned me... he told me to donate once a year na lang. not 2x a year.
    so i've decided.

every november 29.. or any date near november 29...
    i will donate.

i didnt/couldnt help my bestfriend then,
but... by donating blood atleast once a year... i help other people survive.
    some may call it penance...
i call it... volunteering to help those in need.
since i dont have the money to help them financially,
i'll give them my blood instead. :)

    oh.
    that night, my head hurts.
    monday night, my head hurts.
    last night, my head hurts.

and i had a bruise on my leg. dunno where it's from .--.

kaya Kira is worried about me. :)
    oh my my.

    i love kira too. :]

    tata~
hope you'd help other people too thru donating blood~
people with Leukemia/dengue... and all sorts of illnesses that requires blood transfusion..
they need you. dont close your hearts.
it is indeed a worth while experience. :)

    recently : on school

    hi thar.
    it's coffee.

recently, our class have been busy working on with our sculptures.
our Christmas break starts on the 24th.
    yess // Christmas eve. :P

    anyway..
    about the 'Design Principles' subject,
we've been asked to do a sculpture of our company mascot
    10 inches tall. >.<

    USING AIR-DRY CLAY.
    it's cool.
    that clay is cool.

the trouble: i went to SM manila to buy the clay from DEOVIR. it's scary there.
    especially at night.

DEOVIR: an Art Store in the Philippines... :))
    http://www.deovir.com/main_page_store_location.html  deovir

    but then.. >.<
my other course mates found it hard to use cause it cracks when it dries.

oh and it's black in color... so we have to paint it white first, before painting it with other colors.
    talk about expenses. >.<

last night, i tried a small part of it.
    pinched a lil..
    and made a small car.

i dunno how to design a car
    so i made the typical
    bumblebee car
but i painted it with red.

    :))

tomorrow, i'd go shopping for tools. bbye money.
and do the base for the sculpture.
im planning on using old newspaper, scratch paper for the fill.
and wire to shape it up.
tape to hold the pieces together. :))

    there we go...

oh i found this CLAY-TIPS online.
for those who uses Air Dry clay for business,
    hope this helps:

While clay is wet Water can be added to Air-Dry Clay to soften or join pieces. If too much water is added and clay is very soft, allow excess to evaporate before molding pieces; otherwise, cracking may result. Check frequently to determine when the clay achieves the desired workability. When working with Air-Dry Clay, remember that pieces greater than ¼” thick are more durable and less fragile than thinner pieces. When joining two pieces together, score or roughen both surfaces, then apply slip before pressing firmly together. To make slip, mix together clay and water until it's the consistency of heavy cream.

You can use most traditional clay sculpting techniques with Air-Dry Clay, such as coil, slab, pinch, score-and-weld. The wet clay takes impressions well from rubber stamps or textured materials. You can also press beads, small stones or other decorative items directly into the clay.

Air-Dry Clay is similar to a porcelain clay body when wet and can be thrown on a potter’s wheel by intermediate and advanced students. However, it should never be fired in a kiln or painted with traditional glazes.

    When clay is dry
Large or thick dry pieces of Air-Dry Clay may be carved or inscribed with clay tools (use adult supervision). Thoroughly dry pieces may be painted with tempera, acrylic or watercolor.

Handling and care information: Store unused clay in an airtight container. Do not store clay to which water has been added. Keep finished product away from open flame. Do not mold into candleholders or other like items for use around flame. Do not put in oven, microwave or kiln. Do not allow finished pieces to come into contact with food or liquids.

    RAWr, hits me.

So you’re stuck in front of the computer all day. Or, you put in so many hours in the office that the only exercise you do is getting up from your desk and going to the toilet. Don’t let this daily sedentary position stop you from keeping fit, though. Here are some simple desk exercises that you can do while at work. (P.S. Now you won’t have an excuse for not exercising, such as “I don’t have time, I’ve got so much stuff to do at work.”)

Stave off computer eye strain by letting your eyes rest every 20 minutes. Gaze around the office, hang up a soothing panoramic picture and look at it for around 20 seconds. Just remember that your eyes, like the rest of your body, need a break. And besides, you wouldn’t want to risk getting glaucoma, developing near-sightedness, and having blurred vision, would you?

Improve your flexibility by doing some stretching exercises. You can’t just pound away on your keyboard all day!

    1. Give your right hand a break from holding the mouse. Lift up both arms and stretch as high as you can. Hold that position for 10 seconds. Then, stretch your right arm even higher, then your left one. Repeat the movement a few more times.
    2. Do some arm stretching. First, extend your right arm to your left (like you’re reaching for something on your left but using your right arm and without fully twisting your body to do so). Second, put your left arm under your right arm, bending your left elbow as you do so. Do the same for your left arm.
    3. Avoid having a stiff neck with this simple exercise: Gently turn your head counterclockwise, then turn it again clockwise. Another way is to tilt your head to the right, as if to connect with your shoulder. Use your left hand to gently press your head down. Hold this position for 10 seconds, then do the same on the other side.
    4. Do chair squats. If you have a private or semi-private cubicle, you’ll have lesser chances of feeling dyahe as you do this exercise. Here’s what you should do: Push yourself away from your desk and stand up, with your feet mirroring the same width of your shoulders. Then, with your chair behind you and your arms extended, slowly squat until you are almost sitting on your chair. Hold the position for about 10 seconds. Make sure you suck in or contract your abs as you squat. Repeat 10-15 times.

Tip: Use the stairs as much as possible. Say your office is on the third floor. What’s the harm in climbing three flights rather than taking the elevator? Meanwhile, for those whose offices are in higher levels, get off two or three floors before your office floor and hit the stairs.

If only... life was like this...

     hi thar.
    coffee here.

It would be nice if LIFE was like a computer...

If you messed up your life, you could press "Alt, Ctrl, Delete" and start all over!

To get your daily exercise, just click on "run"!

If you needed a break from life, click on "suspend".

Hit "any key" to continue life when ready.

To get even with the neighbors, turn up the sound blaster.

To "add/remove" someone in your life, click settings and control panel.

To improve your appearance, just adjust the display settings.

If life gets too noisy, turn off the speakers.

When you lose your car keys, click on "find".

"Help" with the chores is just a click away.

for life includes the ups and downs
    the bad and the good
the happy times and the lowly times
    the disappointments and the successes.

    if everything would be perfect...
    and according to your willl

aren't you just taking it for granted?
and won't you just pass on to those that are good for you,
just because you don't feel like seeing them?

Computers do not suffer Misery.. as there are no Feelings or emotions, Caused by the Human sensations & Intelligence!!

All these apart, Humans are Humans - We made Computers and rule them!

    something i found INTERESTING

    hi thar.
    coffee here.

sorry that i was not able to update. :))

but i want to share this with you.
    just read it.

Love is one of the misused words in our vocabulary. In effect its real meaning has become vague. Saying “I love you” and “I love pizza” seems to be same to many.

Could it be that we treat people as pizzas?

    To love, real love or
agape is to give oneself to the other for the sake of the other. To lust is to treat people like pizzas.  To lust is to use people for your own selfish desire for pleasure. What do you do when pizza satisfies your craving? It becomes a leftover. And sooner or later it gets thrown away.

    Many people feel that way.

    Thrown away.

Lust uses people for selfish reasons and desires. After the reasons or desires are met, the person is discarded. And sadly we live in a culture that promotes using each other, just see the advertisements!

Love, the real thing is on the opposite side of lust. Love wants what is the good of the other. It does not use the other to benefit oneself.  Love looks at the eyes of the beloved. Lust is trapped in his own ego, thinking how to use the other person.

Once I heard that as long as two people are in the agreement in using each other, it is alright. But it does not change the fact that you are being used and you are using another person. And people were not made to be used, but to be loved.

To live a life of lust is to live a life of emptiness.  Only real love can truly satisfy us.

Love and lust cannot exist with each other for the reason that love cannot wait to give while lust cannot wait to take.

How does this agape looks like?

Look at Jesus on the Cross. He emptied Himself for our sake. There is no selfishness in the Crucified Christ. Jesus gave Himself totally to us. Period.

So what is your choice? To love or to lust?

HOW IT STARTED. the green monster

    hai thar.
    coffee here.

today, i just want to blog about how i feel...

    which i cant really identify.
and i will not pay attention to the spelling or whatnot.
    because im typing continuously.

    gomenasai
    .

    NOVEMBER 16, 2009

    First of all...
haha. now that im typing i cant even pinpoint what my problem is. -.-

    let's start with...

i envy her just because. :))

at first i really don't care.
    so what?
    d'ba?

    but then...
the first time i met the ma...
the first thing i remember that she said, aside from hi and some questions, was:

"kaninong panyo to? kay ____ ata to e? nagpupunta pa ba sya dito?"

syempre. ako si "stranger" kaya wala akong karapatang magsalita.or nahihiya pa akong magtanong. :)) hahahah gagu kasi ako e.

    puro na lang "____" "_______"

oo alam kong matagal na yun..
    pero...
di ko na mabura sa isip ko e.

    yan yung 1st incident...

2nd naman. same day.. pero gabi na nun
    we didiint sleep.
    just roamed around.
    kwento kwento

hanggang sa napunta nnman yung topic kay ______

phrases i cant forget that HE told me that night.

"alam mo... gusto ka ni mama. 1 kasi,Stephanie pangalan mo. dapat yun yung pangalan ng bunso namin e... 2maganda ka. :))"

"gusto ni mama si ____ pero gusto ka rin nya."

"mas maganda si ___ pero maganda ka rin. mas maganda nga lang si ___"
-puta dba? hahaha. bulls eye yun e.

back to topic. :)) mejo nagoout of topic amf.

    nakita ko sya. :D
    nakausap.
    nakaclose... mejo.

tapos may time na natanong ko

"mas mataba ba sakin si ___"

in bitter voice he answered : "wag kang magsasalita. di mo pa naman sya nakikita"

hurt inside. sabi ko "kaya nga tinatanong ko dba? curious lang naman ako e."

    hahah....

    feeling ko kasi nun
    wala akong karapatan

    wala akong karapatang magtanong
    tumingin tingin...
    magsalita. :))

    :))

may laban pa ako nun e.
    kasi..
payat pa ako ng onte. haha.
    ngayon.
    haiy
    bahala na si batman

    teka

    mejo nawala na yung...
    pagkainis ko

    pero meron pa

mga tanong na naglalaro sa aking isipan.

    > kung ba kayo ulit... mas matutuwa sila mama?
    >mas mahal mo ba sya sakin?
    > bakit sya all out support ka. parang la kayong problema. bakit tayo? bakit? anong mali satin?
    > what's wrong with me?
    > panu kung.... pumayat ako ng bongga... ako na ba yung mas maganda? mas magugustuhan mo ba ako nun?
    > mahal mo pa ba sya?
    > what do i have to do?

last question: sagot lang naman dun "break", "off"
LOL. di ko naman magawa. :))

    hahaha.
    haiy nakooooooooooooo..

    WHAT: Anime Overload Festival '09
WHERE: SMX Convention Center, Pasay City Philippines
    WHEN: November 08, 2009 (10:00AM-8:00PM)
WHO: Anime Enthusiast, Volunteers and Contestants

    at long last!

    haiy nako buhay.

    1. "Am I better-looking/smarter/etc. than your ex?"
Would you want him to ask you that? If he answers yes to your q, you'll wonder if he's lying. If he says no, well, can your really handle that kind of truth? He's with you now, not her, so just don't even go there.
(pano naman kung sinabi niya na mas maganda yung ex niya kesa sayo maski di ka nagtatanong? tapos simula nun, di ka na msyadong confident? :( -kasakit neh? hahaha simula pa lang e. ganun na.)

    2. "Do you love me?"
Has he used the L word already? Well, there's your answer. If he hasn't--and you absolutely have to know where he stands--you might start by telling him how you feel about him, rather than putting him on the spot with a needy question.
(sometimes naman kasi.. pag naglalambing.. diba tatanong din yun para minsan mapansin ka? minsan ginagawa ko yun. ahah! :)) ewan ko lang... :P "do you love me?" "oo naman" "i love you too" tapos smile. :P)

    3. "Can you lend me some money?"
A few bucks is fine, but asking for anything substantial (like a down payment on your car, a month's rent, etc) is unfair. You don't sleep with your bank teller, so don't borrow cash from your boyfriend.
    (o.o garabe naman yon.)

    4. "Are you cheating on me?"
If he's innocent, he'll resent the question. If he's guilty, chances are that he'll lie...and even when you have info to backup your suspicions, you better soft-pedal your accusation. If you're wrong, your relationship may never recover.
(this is a never to ask question. :P TIWALA LANG. :P)

the RIGHT thing. :] and im gonna follow it. :P

    “Do you want real love?”

If genuine love has escaped you thus far, if think you’ve already found that perfect someone, or if regrets and confusion have made you wonder if the love you’ve dreamed of really exists, the following pages have been written for you.

If you’re like me, you’ve been told that sex is bad. But when you ask why, you hear something like, “It’s just bad, so don’t do it,” or “You’ll get a disease or get pregnant!” While I’m sure you realize that sex has its consequences—and they might be bad if they happen—these reasons aren’t always convincing.

Our generation has been taught how to avoid venereal infections, but what we really want to know is how to find, build, and maintain a relationship of real love. Sex is supposed to be a great gift, so it’s easy to get tired of hearing about the diseases and unwed pregnancy rates. If you’re ready for a different approach, and you want the gift of sex to be as great as it was meant to be, read on.

    “How do I find love?”

Everyone wants love. Everyone longs to give himself or herself to another. We’re made for love, and that need in us is so deep that many would rather risk getting pregnant or getting an STD than live without love. We may be willing to take these risks because the world tells us that sex equals love. Then we see relationships in which sex destroyed love, and we wonder what went wrong. The only solution capable of breaking through this hurt and confusion is the virtue known as chastity.

    “What’s chastity?”

Chastity is a virtue (like courage or honesty) that applies to a person’s sexuality. It means that you take all of your sexual desires and order them according to the demands of real love. For example, when you love a person, you make whatever sacrifice is best for them and you do whatever is necessary to keep from harming them. Chastity means that you take this definition of love and apply it to sex.

Some think that chastity simply means “no sex.” But that’s abstinence: focusing on what you can’t do and can’t have. Chastity is what you can do and can have, right now: a lifestyle that brings freedom, respect, peace, and even romance—without regret. Chastity frees a couple from the selfish attitude of using each other as objects, thus making them capable of true love.
